Some countries in the Region have experience in the ability of rootstocks to tolerate adverse soil conditions and the positive impact of rootstocks on fruit quality and vine fruit yield. Grapes can be eaten as fresh or used for making jam, juice, jelly, vinegar, wine, grape seed extracts and grape seed oil.
